Description: Position Description & Link to the Organization's Mission The Canadian Cancer Society's Mission: Reduce cancer incidence, reduce cancer mortality, enhance quality of life. Funds raised through the Daffodil Campaign will make a difference in the lives of people living with cancer by helping to raise funds and build community awareness for cancer research, cancer prevention, and Society's programs and services. The purpose of this role is to volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society's Daffodil Campaign as a Street Team OR Pin Distribution volunteer in the Greater Vancouver Region.

Deliverables / Duties - Two positions are available:
1. Pin Distribution Volunteer: As a pin distribution volunteer you will report to a Team Leader. Your responsibilities are to: -maintain relationships with the local businesses in your community that are participating -maintain 6-10 pin boxes in your community by refilling the Daffodils pins and collecting money donated on an on-going basis -fill in provided tracking sheets to hand in with all of the donations at the end of the month
2. Street Team Volunteer: As a Street Team volunteer you will report to a Team Leader. Your responsibilities are to: -interact with the public to make a donation and encourages everyone to wear a Daffodil pin -this role will be available in every community throughout the Greater Vancouver Region
Other Requirements PIN DISTRIBUTION TEAMS: A commitment throughout the month of April: dates and times are flexible STREET TEAMS: A minimum commitment of 2 shifts the weekends of April 7th & 8th and 14th & 15th
